‘Monstrous Feminine’  is a sculptural installation that examines autonomous objects to explore how femmetopian items objectify the female body. Inspired by films like 'The Stepford Wives' and 'Ex-Machina', the digital persona of Ambie Drew becomes manifested as a physical object, lifted from a digital realm. She examines a fragmented, online existence in a synthetic, plastic reality. Commissioned by Vivid Projects with Black Hole Club for PRESS ON AND PLAY.
